I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 10 years of experience working with adolescents and their families, young adults and adults. I first graduated from UCSD and then went on to become a social worker for the Department of Children and Family Services where I case managed and helped numerous children and families. I later earned my Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD), with an emphasis on families and couples work and theory, from the California School of Professional Psychology. Over the years I have worked at several clinics in the Los Angeles area gaining diverse experience across the life span; from working with children, adolescents and their families to working with chronically mentally ill older adults. My primary focus over the past several years has been in working with young adults and the college population at community colleges, state colleges and private universities. My training and skills are in working with individuals, couples, families and groups utilizing many different modalities. My practice is integrative and tailored to fit your needs, this might include mindfulness exercises, addressing and changing your negative thought patterns or exploring the dynamics in your personal and familial relationships to increase insight and bring about positive change.
